The phrase plays on the double meaning of <em>d\u2019ailleurs<\/em> (\u2018from elsewhere\u2019, but also \u2018besides\u2019) to question notions of belonging and dismantle the narrative that frames the migrant as a perpetual outsider, asserting the presence and legitimacy of diasporas within contemporary social and cultural fabrics. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-33 elementor-inner-column elementor-element elementor-element-9baced1\" data-id=\"9baced1\" data-element_type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ae2e9e3 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"ae2e9e3\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>\u201cThe goal,\u201d \u2013 states Chamekh \u2013 \u201cis to express the vibrant and untamed frictions of the world \u2018from elsewhere\u2019 living, acting, and struggling inside the Italian framework itself. Against the museum narrative that smoothes out the rough edges of history, exile is the space of the \u2018in-between\u2019 (as defined by Edward Sa\u00efd), a space of critical connections from which another historical truth is articulated\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The solid archival research underlying his work takes the form of a visual atlas. Like ghosts dense with memory and political energy, the images coexist, creating unprecedented relationships between past and present. The result is a vast palimpsest where distinct eras, bodies, and memories interact with one another. Through the interplay of transparency and opacity, the images shift in response to the visitor\u2019s movement and the changing natural light. The MUDEC Agora, designed by David Chipperfield, is thus transformed into an \u2018architecture of resonance\u2019 \u2013 a space for active critical engagement with collective memory and diasporic
